By providing your body with endurance, strength, stamina and increased the production of oxygen, you will feel more energized and geared up. So when you are a beginner and starts to join a cardio exercise program, it is important to first check with your doctor in case you have any medical conditions that need to be addressed, in order for you and your doctor to have a baseline data and consider you as a physically fit.
Exercise can improve the quality of life for any individual from children to late adult, regardless of their medical condition, but consulting your physician will ensure that the workout routine you choose are not harmful/threat to your condition or will not exacerbate your heart due to any medication you may be taking that can adjust or change your heart rate. Walking can be done almost anywhere and everywhere, and you can use walking to work yourself up to other activities, such as jogging, jumping rope, swimming, running and cycling. Incorporating a cardio exercise daily will provide maximum benefits, but many people wish to choose a few days out of the week where they can focus on their fitness and well being. Cardio fitness exercise is an activity that you will do at a moderate pace for a minimum of 20 minutes, building up to around 45 minutes or at times even higher, one step at a time for your body to be more progressive. You should always begin at a slow speed for about 5 or 10 minutes because this allows your body to warm up and decreases the risk of any injury, it’s all ready proven by most of the athletes. It is also a good idea to spend 5 or 10 minutes cooling down after finishing your workout. You do this by going at the same slower pace as you were when you were warming up. This is a very healthy way to start up your day, our heart is very essential so we must take it seriously as often as possible.
