Alcoholism intake is not a crime. It is not bad to take a few. It is sometimes used as a recreation to release the tensions. It’s when alcohol is abused that’s usually the cause of all the commotion. There are many accidents and crimes happening caused by alcohol intoxication.

Due to the negative effects of alcohol like impaired judgment, a person driving under the influence can result in quite a ruckus. That person might bump into another car of vice versa. It can also wreak havoc on everything around. We can see in news that shows report of a person drunk driving colliding with another car or hitting a bystander. Sometimes we can also get news reports of crimes done by a person because he or she is drunk. Crimes like holdups, rape, vandalism even homicide can be caused by alcoholics.

Year by year the tally on these problems are going up by thousands. It is like only a miracle can stop this. But actually we can do something about it. We just have to be aware and take actions initiatively. Some of us lack the will to take action when we come across this kind of situation. We seldom care cause we think it would take too much of our time and effort, or we see no use of doing so because that person is in it too deep. These people should get alcohol treatment to cure them and lessen that numbers of accidents and crime. Let us be aware of this and do what is necessary.
